CONJUMAB-A is an antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Intellect Neurosciences for the treatment of Age-related Macular Degeneration (AMD). It is the lead candidate from the company's CONJUMAB platform, which utilizes a site-specific conjugation technology to attach antioxidant and anti-inflammatory small molecules to monoclonal antibodies. In the case of CONJUMAB-A, the antibody component is designed to target amyloid-beta (Aβ) deposits, which are associated with the progression of geographic atrophy in AMD.
