Overview

Conpelisib (also known by its code names CVL237 and KA2237) is an oral, potent, and selective dual inhibitor of the PI3K β and δ isoforms. Developed by Convalife (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (which acquired global rights from Karus Therapeutics), it is being investigated for the treatment of activated phosphoinositol 3-kinase δ syndrome (APDS)/p110 delta-activated mutation leading to senescent T cells, lymphadenopathy, and immune deficiency (PASLI), as well as advanced solid tumors with PTEN deficiency, including gastric cancer, prostate cancer, endometrial cancer, colorectal cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, and melanoma. It has also shown activity in relapsed/refractory B-cell lymphoma.
