Contisor is a generic cardiovascular medication containing bisoprolol fumarate, a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist. Developed and manufactured by Fremed Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Vietnam, it is primarily used to treat hypertension, heart failure, and other cardiac conditions. As a beta-blocker, it works by reducing the heart rate and the heart's workload, thereby lowering blood pressure and improving cardiac efficiency. It is available in multiple strengths (2.5 mg, 5 mg, and 10 mg) and is produced in a WHO-GMP certified facility.
