Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Conyza blinii saponin (CBS) is the major active fraction extracted from *Conyza blinii H.Lév.*, a natural plant distributed in southwest China. This plant is traditionally used in Chinese medicine for treating infections, inflammations, and occasionally cancers. CBS is primarily composed of triterpenoidal saponins and has demonstrated anti-cancer activity, particularly against cervical carcinoma, through the inhibition of MAPK and TGF-β signaling pathways and the modulation of Nrf2 and Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS).
