Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Coprigrel is an oral fixed-dose dual-antiplatelet product developed by Chong Kun Dang Pharmaceutical containing **clopidogrel 75 mg and aspirin 100 mg**. Clopidogrel is a prodrug whose active metabolite irreversibly inhibits platelet P2Y12 ADP receptors, while aspirin irreversibly inhibits platelet cyclooxygenase-1, reducing thromboxane A2-mediated platelet activation and aggregation. The combination was evaluated in Phase 1 pharmacokinetic studies in healthy men versus separate clopidogrel and aspirin administration and was bioequivalent to the individual products.
