Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Coquelusedal Adulte is a herbal medicinal product formulated as a suppository for rectal administration. It is indicated as an adjunctive treatment for benign acute bronchial disorders in adults, primarily to alleviate cough and respiratory congestion. The formulation contains hydroalcoholic extracts of *Grindelia robusta* and *Gelsemium sempervirens*. Grindelia is traditionally recognized for its expectorant and antispasmodic properties, facilitating the clearance of mucus and reducing bronchial spasms, while Gelsemium provides a sedative effect on the respiratory tract. Developed by Laboratoire ELERTE, it is a long-standing treatment in the French pharmaceutical market for mild respiratory conditions.
