Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Coralium D3 is a nutritional supplement developed and marketed by Zuventus Healthcare Limited. It is a combination product containing coral calcium (calcium carbonate derived from marine coral from Okinawa, Japan) and vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol). The supplement is primarily used for the management and prevention of calcium and vitamin D3 deficiency states, as well as for conditions such as osteoporosis, osteomalacia, and rickets. Vitamin D3 facilitates the intestinal absorption of calcium and regulates bone mineralization by binding to the vitamin D receptor (VDR), while coral calcium provides a source of elemental calcium essential for maintaining bone density and structural integrity. It is available in multiple oral formulations, including tablets, suspension, and syrup.
