Overview

Corfluvec is a two-component intranasal vaccine developed for the prevention of COVID-19. It is based on an attenuated (weakened and non-pathogenic for humans) influenza virus vector. The vaccine is administered intranasally via a spray, targeting the area where the pathogen enters the body, which may help control infection at an early stage, reduce disease severity, form cross-protection against several strains of influenza and coronavirus, and limit transmission. The vaccine is designed to be administered as two doses with an interval of two weeks.
