Coriolus versicolor intracellular glycopeptide is a botanical extract derived from the mycelium of the *Coriolus versicolor* (Turkey Tail) mushroom. It is a complex glycopeptide consisting of polysaccharides covalently linked to peptide chains. The agent functions as an immunomodulator, enhancing the activity of T-lymphocytes, natural killer (NK) cells, and macrophages, while stimulating the production of cytokines such as interferon-gamma and interleukins. In clinical practice, particularly in China, it is frequently utilized as an adjuvant therapy in oncology to mitigate chemotherapy-induced immunosuppression, leukopenia, and cancer-related fatigue. It is currently being evaluated in investigator-initiated clinical trials, such as those conducted by West China Hospital, as a combination therapy with standard platinum-based doublet chemotherapy and PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors for patients with advanced (Stage III–IV) driver gene-negative non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
