Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CoronaVac + Inlive is a vaccine combination regimen consisting of the simultaneous administration of two separate inactivated vaccines developed by Sinovac Biotech: CoronaVac (an inactivated SARS-CoV-2 vaccine) and Inlive (an inactivated Enterovirus 71 vaccine). CoronaVac is derived from the CZ02 strain of SARS-CoV-2, while Inlive is derived from the H07 strain (subgenotype C4) of Enterovirus 71. Both vaccines are produced using Vero cells and are formulated with aluminum hydroxide as an adjuvant. This co-administration approach was specifically evaluated in Phase IV clinical trials to determine the safety and immunogenicity of providing protection against both COVID-19 and Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease (HFMD) in pediatric populations, specifically children aged 3 to 5 years.
