Cortin

It is formulated as a spray containing two active ingredients: hydrocortisone, a mild corticosteroid, and oxytetracycline, a broad-spectrum tetracycline antibiotic. This combination is specifically indicated for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions, such as eczema, contact dermatitis, and seborrheic dermatitis, particularly when a secondary bacterial infection is present or likely to occur. Hydrocortisone functions as a glucocorticoid receptor agonist, exerting anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, and vasoconstrictive effects by modulating gene expression to reduce the production of inflammatory mediators.
