It is typically administered orally in 5–10 grams daily or as an equivalent extract[2]. Safety concerns exist, especially regarding THP related hepatotoxicity, thus caution is warranted[2]. Substantial clinical validation in humans is currently lacking; most data are from animal or in vitro studies[2][3].
