Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Coryza ABC (specifically marketed as ITA Coryza ABC Gel) is an inactivated veterinary vaccine developed by Laprovet and distributed by Navana Pharmaceuticals. It is designed for the active immunization of poultry, particularly breeder and layer-type chicken flocks, against infectious coryza caused by *Avibacterium paragallinarum*. The vaccine contains inactivated cultures of *Avibacterium paragallinarum* serotypes A, B, and C, homogenized with an aluminum hydroxide gel adjuvant. It is administered subcutaneously or intramuscularly to chickens between 8 and 12 weeks of age to prevent clinical signs of infectious coryza, such as swelling of the face and wattles, nasal discharge, and respiratory distress.
