Overview

**Cov-RBD-scNP-001** is an investigational adjuvanted pancoronavirus protein-nanoparticle vaccine developed by Duke University for prevention of COVID-19 and potentially broader protection against SARS-related betacoronaviruses. Its immunogen comprises an engineered SARS-CoV-2 WA-1 receptor-binding domain covalently displayed on a *Helicobacter pylori* ferritin nanoparticle; the 24-subunit ferritin scaffold can present multiple RBD copies through a nine-amino-acid linker. It is administered with the TLR7/8 agonist adjuvant 3M-052-AF to enhance innate and adaptive antiviral immune responses, including neutralizing antibodies directed at the SARS-CoV-2 spike RBD.
