Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CoVacHGMix is a non-replicating Type 5 adenoviral vector vaccine developed by Ankara City Hospital Bilkent for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine is a multi-component formulation containing equal amounts of four distinct adenoviral vector components: CoVacHGA1320, CoVacHGB420, CoVacHGC720, and CoVacHGD1480. It is designed to deliver SARS-CoV-2 antigens to host cells to elicit a protective immune response. Clinical development has proceeded through a Phase I adaptive design study in healthy volunteers aged 18-59 years, evaluating safety and immunogenicity at two dose levels (5x10^10 and 1x10^11) administered intramuscularly in a two-dose regimen on days 0 and 28.
