Drug intelligence / Profile preview
This is a combination immunization regimen consisting of three vaccines: - **COVAX (Covax-19/Spikogen):** A recombinant protein subunit COVID-19 vaccine developed by Vaxine and CinnaGen. It uses a secreted soluble spike ectodomain (ECD) of SARS-CoV-2 expressed in insect cells and is adjuvanted with Advax-CpG55.2 to enhance immunogenicity. The primary indication is prevention of COVID-19[1][5]. - **PPV23 (Pneumococcal Polysaccharide Vaccine 23-valent):** A polysaccharide vaccine containing purified capsular polysaccharides from 23 serotypes of Streptococcus pneumoniae. It induces immunity against pneumococcal disease. - **IIV4 (Quadrivalent Inactivated Influenza Vaccine):** An inactivated influenza virus vaccine containing antigens from two influenza A strains and two influenza B strains for seasonal flu prevention. Each component acts via antigen presentation to stimulate the immune system to produce protective antibodies against its respective pathogen.
