Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CoVEVax is a preclinical-stage pan-coronavirus vaccine candidate developed by Ciloa. It utilizes a proprietary small extracellular vesicle (sEV) platform where the SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein is fused to a "Pilot Peptide" and displayed on the surface of the sEVs. This approach is designed to induce a robust antiviral immune response against SARS-CoV-2 and potentially other coronaviruses by presenting the antigen in a natural, membrane-bound conformation to enhance immunogenicity.
