Overview
COVID-19 (Variant) Vaccine is a virus-like particle (VLP) vaccine candidate developed by VLP Therapeutics. It is specifically designed to provide protection against variant strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The vaccine utilizes a VLP platform to present viral antigens, such as the spike protein, in a highly organized, repetitive array that mimics the native structure of the virus without being infectious. This presentation is intended to stimulate a robust and broad immune response, including the production of neutralizing antibodies and the activation of T-cells, to prevent infection and disease caused by emerging COVID-19 variants.
