Drug intelligence / Profile preview
COVID-19 S-Vax-loaded autologous dendritic cell injection is an investigational autologous dendritic cell vaccine developed by Beijing TIL Therapeutics for the prevention of COVID-19. The vaccine consists of ex vivo expanded monocyte-derived autologous dendritic cells loaded with COVID-19 S-Vax, a recombinant SARS-CoV-2 spike protein antigen. Upon subcutaneous administration, these antigen-loaded dendritic cells present the SARS-CoV-2 spike antigen to the host's immune system, priming CD4+ T helper cells and CD8+ cytotoxic T lymphocytes, and orchestrating the activation of B cells to elicit a robust protective immune response against SARS-CoV-2 infection.
