COYA-303

COYA-303 is an investigational biologic combination therapy developed by Coya Therapeutics. It consists of two components: COYA 301 (a proprietary low-dose interleukin 2, LD IL-2) and a glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA). Designed for subcutaneous administration, the drug aims to deliver a multi-targeted immunomodulatory effect by enhancing regulatory T cell (Treg) function and suppressing pro-inflammatory myeloid cells and responder T cells. Preclinical studies have demonstrated that the combination produces a synergistic increase in Treg suppressive function and promotes Treg survival by inhibiting apoptosis pathways. The therapeutic rationale is to address systemic inflammation and neuroinflammation associated with autoimmune, neurodegenerative, and metabolic diseases where dysfunctional immune regulation plays a key role[1][4][5][7].
