CP024

**CP024** is a nasal powder formulation of recombinant human growth hormone (somatropin) developed using CriticalSorb, a nasal absorption enhancer, for intranasal delivery via a powder device. It achieves approximately 3% relative bioavailability compared to subcutaneous injection, with 3-fold higher hGH blood levels than hGH nasal solution without the enhancer, and induces IGF-1 levels comparable to subcutaneous hGH despite lower systemic hGH exposure, mimicking endogenous pulsatile GH secretion. Developed by Critical Pharmaceuticals for growth hormone deficiency, it was tested in Phase 1 trials showing good tolerability with only mild, transient nasal irritation.[1][2][3]
