Overview

CP1050 is a synthetic small molecule drug developed by Curadim Pharma for the treatment of autoimmune-mediated diseases. It acts as a modulator of the Sphingosine 1-Phosphate (S1P) receptor, which plays a key role in regulating lymphocyte movement and immune cell trafficking. By targeting this receptor, CP1050 is expected to reduce circulating lymphocytes and help control immune-mediated inflammatory conditions. The drug aims to provide immunomodulatory benefits similar to other S1P receptor modulators but with an improved safety profile—specifically aiming to avoid cardiac side effects such as bradycardia seen with earlier agents in this class. As of early 2025, clinical development has reached Phase 1 trials focused on safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in healthy volunteers[2][3][5].
