CP41

CP41 is a **novel synthetic analogue of curcumin** designed to improve upon curcumin's bioavailability and antitumor potency. CP41 inhibits proliferation of endometrial cancer cells by inducing apoptosis. Its mechanism of action includes increasing reactive oxygen species (ROS), activating endoplasmic reticulum stress, inhibiting proteasome activity, raising H3F3A protein levels, and activating MAPK signaling, which collectively result in apoptosis of tumor cells. Preclinical studies show it has **stronger antitumor activity than curcumin** and a favorable safety profile in mice. Its major application is the potential treatment of endometrial cancer[1].
