Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CPAT-01 is a proprietary, standardized oral veterinary cannabinoid formulation containing cannabidiol and delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol derived from natural cannabis extracts. Developed for dogs with osteoarthritis, it is intended to reduce pain and inflammation and improve mobility and quality of life. CannPal completed Phase 1 pharmacokinetic and safety studies and a Phase 2A placebo-controlled study in client-owned dogs; the program has subsequently advanced toward a Phase 2C dose-confirmation study to support a future FDA Center for Veterinary Medicine registration pathway.
