Overview

CPU-YL01 is a therapeutic vaccine candidate being developed by Jiangsu Chuangyuan Life Science and Technology in collaboration with China Pharmaceutical University for the treatment of chronic hepatitis B (CHB). As a recombinant protein-based immunotherapy, CPU-YL01 is designed to stimulate a targeted immune response against the hepatitis B virus (HBV), aiming to overcome the immune tolerance and exhaustion that characterize chronic infection. The drug is currently in Phase I clinical development (e.g., CTR20262223), where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacodynamics in adults with CHB who are receiving stable nucleos(t)ide analogue therapy. It is administered via intramuscular injection.
