CPX101 (Guangzhou Chia Tai Innovative Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.)

CPX101 is an investigational long-acting glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist developed by Guangzhou Chia Tai Innovative Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for the treatment of obesity and overweight. It functions by mimicking the action of the endogenous GLP-1 hormone, which stimulates insulin secretion, inhibits glucagon release, and slows gastric emptying, thereby promoting satiety and weight loss. The drug is currently in Phase I clinical development, where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary efficacy in healthy volunteers and overweight or obese patients. CPX101 is administered via subcutaneous injection.
