CQ-001

CQ-001 is CanaQuest's investigational cannabidiol-based neurotherapeutic formulation for refractory epilepsy and developmental and epileptic encephalopathies. The candidate combines cannabidiol with a proprietary composition reported to include essential fatty acids, with the formulation intended to enhance central nervous system exposure and engage the peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma pathway. CanaQuest reports completed preclinical in-vivo studies and plans bioequivalence and later-stage clinical development for genetically defined pediatric epilepsy populations with refractory drop and generalized seizures.
