Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CQ Max is a nanocurcumin-based nutraceutical product developed by Genspec Lifesciences. It contains 125mg of nanocurcumin (equivalent to 40% curcuminoids) formulated as a water-soluble nanoparticle preparation. This delivery system is specifically designed to enhance the bioavailability and aqueous solubility of curcumin, a polyphenolic compound derived from turmeric (*Curcuma longa*) that typically exhibits poor oral absorption. Curcumin acts as a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory agent by modulating multiple molecular pathways, including the inhibition of pro-inflammatory transcription factors and enzymes. CQ Max is marketed as an oral syrup for general antioxidant and anti-inflammatory support and is positioned for the management of chronic conditions such as inflammation, pain, and metabolic disorders.
