Overview

CRB-601 is a monoclonal antibody developed for the treatment of advanced solid tumors and malignant neoplasms. It selectively targets integrin αvβ8 to block the activation of latent transforming growth factor-beta (TGFβ) in the tumor microenvironment. By inhibiting this pathway, CRB-601 disrupts TGFβ-mediated immune suppression, enhances immune cell infiltration into tumors, and potentiates the activity of immune checkpoint inhibitors such as anti-PD1 therapies. Preclinical studies have shown that CRB-601 can overcome tumor immune exclusion and promote anti-tumor immunity both as monotherapy and in combination with checkpoint inhibitors. The drug is currently being evaluated in Phase 1/2 clinical trials for patients with advanced solid tumors[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8].
