CRE-DR

CRE-DR (also known as E-mab) is a monoclonal antibody being developed by epitoMAP for the treatment of allergic diseases, initially focusing on canine allergic dermatitis. The antibody targets Immunoglobulin E (IgE) and works by suppressing IgE production from B cells. A key feature of CRE-DR is its reported ability to distinguish between pathogenic and non-pathogenic IgE, potentially offering a more targeted approach to allergy management compared to broad IgE inhibitors. In November 2023, epitoMAP licensed the domestic development, manufacturing, and sales rights for the canine formulation in Japan to Nippon Zenyaku Kogyo Co., Ltd. (Zennoaq). The drug is currently in the preclinical/early development stage, with future plans to expand into human allergy treatments.
