Overview

CrF-ADSC-exo refers to exosomes derived from adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) isolated from creeping fat (CrF), a characteristic pathological feature of Crohn's disease. These exosomes are enriched with miR-132-3p, which targets the RASA1/ERK1/2 signaling pathway in lymphatic endothelial cells. By modulating this axis, CrF-ADSC-exo promotes lymphangiogenesis and improves lymphatic drainage, thereby alleviating inflammation in experimental models of colitis and mesenteritis. This research, primarily conducted at Shanghai Tenth People's Hospital, suggests a potential therapeutic role for these exosomes in treating the mesenteric and intestinal complications of Crohn's disease.
