Overview

CRG-522 is a T-cell receptor (TCR) bispecific antibody developed by CorreGene, designed to target the Melanoma-Associated Antigen A1 (MAGE-A1) peptide-HLA complex on tumor cells. MAGE-A1 is a cancer-testis antigen frequently overexpressed in various solid tumors but absent in normal adult tissues (except testis), making it an ideal target for immunotherapy. The molecule typically consists of a high-affinity TCR domain that recognizes the MAGE-A1/HLA-A*01 complex and an anti-CD3 scFv domain that recruits and activates T cells to eliminate the target cancer cells. It is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical trials for the treatment of multiple advanced solid tumors.
