Drug intelligence / Profile preview
A combination therapy consisting of crizotinib, a tyrosine kinase inhibitor targeting ALK, ROS1, and MET, and denosumab, a RANK ligand inhibitor. This combination has shown potential efficacy in treating ALK-positive non-small cell lung cancer, particularly in cases with bone metastases. A case report has demonstrated response of both primary tumor and metastases in a patient with metastatic adenocarcinoma of the lung harboring an ALK gene translocation when treated with denosumab, suggesting a possible link between ALK and RANK signaling pathways.
