Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Cromin-P75 is a fixed-dose combination of pregabalin (75 mg) and methylcobalamin (750 mcg) developed by Croise Pharma. It is primarily indicated for the treatment of neuropathic pain, including diabetic neuropathy, postherpetic neuralgia, spinal cord injury pain, and fibromyalgia. Pregabalin is an alpha-2-delta ligand that binds to the auxiliary subunits of voltage-gated calcium channels in the central nervous system, reducing the influx of calcium and subsequent release of excitatory neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin, a neurologically active form of vitamin B12, acts as a cofactor for methionine synthase, promoting myelin sheath synthesis, nerve fiber protection, and the regeneration of damaged nerve cells. Together, these components work synergistically to alleviate chronic nerve pain and improve nerve conduction.
