Overview

CROMOC is a preclinical-stage anticancer therapeutic being developed by RDP Pharma. It is a biomolecule/polypeptide-based therapy that utilizes a DNA recognition-site specific endonuclease directed at active chromatin as its active ingredient. The drug is equipped with a liver-sorting peptide, known as a Drug Delivery Module (DDM), designed to target liver tissue specifically. The mechanism of action involves cleaving active chromatin in cancer cells to induce cell death. CROMOC is currently in development for the treatment of liver cancer and lung cancer.
