**crosslinked gp100** is a covalently crosslinked form of the melanoma-associated antigen glycoprotein 100 (gp100), used as a vaccine antigen to enhance antitumor immune responses in preclinical cancer models. Crosslinking of gp100 (commonly with agents such as DTSSP) increases antigen uptake and processing by dendritic cells, promotes cross-presentation, and stimulates antigen-specific CD8+ T-cell responses and interferon-γ secretion. Vaccination with crosslinked gp100 has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mouse models of melanoma, acting as a potent approach for tumor vaccine development by augmenting cellular immunity against tumors expressing gp100. Its potential is being explored for melanoma and possibly other gp100-expressing malignancies[3][8].
