Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CRPHBV is a T-cell receptor (TCR) based bispecific antibody developed by Corregene Biotechnology for the treatment of chronic Hepatitis B. The therapeutic is designed to target the Hepatitis B virus envelope antigen (HBV Env) presented on the surface of infected hepatocytes. As a T-cell engager, CRPHBV simultaneously binds to the viral antigen and the CD3 complex on T cells, thereby recruiting and activating cytotoxic T cells to selectively eliminate HBV-infected cells. This mechanism aims to reduce viral load and potentially contribute to a functional cure for Hepatitis B by leveraging the precision of TCR-based targeting.
