CRTE7A2-01 is a preparation of autologous T lymphocytes genetically engineered to express a high-affinity T-cell receptor (TCR) specific for the E7 oncoprotein of human papillomavirus type 16 (HPV16). The therapy is designed to target and eliminate HPV16-positive tumor cells by recognizing and binding to the viral E7 protein presented on HLA-A*02:01 molecules. It is being developed as an adoptive cell therapy for advanced solid tumors, including cervical cancer, head and neck cancers, and anal cancer that are positive for HPV16. The product uses lentiviral vectors for gene modification and leverages SMART-TCR technology to optimize affinity. Developed by Beijing Corregene Biotechnology, it has demonstrated promising safety and antitumor activity in early clinical studies[1][5][7].
