CRX100 is an investigational, patient-specific cancer immunotherapy developed by BioEclipse Therapeutics for advanced refractory solid malignancies. It is manufactured from autologous cytokine-induced killer cells, enriched for CD3+CD56+ natural killer-like T cells, combined with vvDD, a tumor-selective Western Reserve vaccinia oncolytic virus with deletions of the viral thymidine kinase and growth-factor genes. The cell component is intended to home to and kill tumor cells while delivering vvDD; the virus preferentially replicates in and lyses tumor cells, with the combined treatment intended to initiate innate and durable adaptive antitumor immunity. CRX100 is administered intravenously and is being evaluated as monotherapy and in separate cohorts with pembrolizumab in a Phase 1 study of advanced solid malignancies.
