Cryo-Cord

Cryo-Cord is a cryopreserved, DMSO-free viable placental umbilical cord allograft developed by Royal Biologics for topical application to chronic non-healing wounds, including diabetic foot ulcers. The product is obtained from donated human umbilical cord tissue from healthy mothers undergoing cesarean section delivery, processed aseptically, and preserved with a proprietary cryoprotectant rather than dimethyl sulfoxide. Its intended therapeutic effect is as a soft tissue barrier and wound dressing that delivers structural extracellular matrix and native placental tissue components such as Wharton's Jelly, growth factors, cytokines, and endogenous viable cells to support tissue repair and wound healing.
