CS02 + metformin

CS02 + metformin is an investigational **combination therapy** consisting of the experimental agent CS02 (administered as a tablet) together with a stable dose of metformin, a widely used antihyperglycemic drug. The combination is being evaluated primarily in clinical studies for **type 2 diabetes mellitus**. CS02's mechanism of action and full pharmacology remain undisclosed in public results, but metformin is well characterized as a biguanide acting to decrease hepatic glucose production, increase insulin sensitivity, and enhance peripheral glucose uptake.
