Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CS1012 is a monoclonal antibody targeting growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF-15), currently in preclinical development by CStone Pharmaceuticals for the treatment of solid tumors. GDF-15 is a stress-response cytokine that is frequently upregulated in various cancers and is associated with tumor progression, immunosuppression, and cancer cachexia. By targeting and neutralizing GDF-15, CS1012 aims to reverse GDF-15-mediated immunosuppression in the tumor microenvironment and potentially alleviate cancer-associated cachexia, thereby offering a therapeutic benefit for patients with advanced solid tumors.
