Overview

CS2013 is a bispecific antibody developed by CStone Pharmaceuticals that simultaneously targets Glycoprotein A Repetitions Predominant (GARP) and Transforming Growth Factor beta 1 (TGFβ1). GARP is a transmembrane protein highly expressed on the surface of activated regulatory T cells (Tregs) and platelets, where it serves as a critical docking site for the activation and release of latent TGFβ1. By co-targeting GARP and TGFβ1, CS2013 is designed to precisely modulate the TGFβ signaling pathway, which is a central regulator of immune tolerance and tissue fibrosis. This dual-targeting approach is intended to restore immune homeostasis and is currently being explored as a therapeutic candidate for the treatment of various autoimmune diseases.
