Overview

CS231295 is a novel, brain-penetrating small-molecule multi-target protein kinase inhibitor developed by Chipscreen Biosciences. It acts as a selective inhibitor of Aurora B kinase, which is overexpressed in various tumors and associated with poor prognosis. Inhibition of Aurora B by CS231295 leads to targeted tumor cell killing and exhibits synthetic lethality in tumors with RB1 deletion or other specific genetic defects. The drug also demonstrates significant anti-angiogenic activity, contributing to broad-spectrum anti-tumor effects. Its ability to cross the blood-brain barrier provides therapeutic advantages for treating primary and metastatic brain tumors. Preclinical studies have shown that CS231295 has strong pharmacodynamic activity, favorable pharmacokinetics, good safety profile, and synergistic potential when combined with chemotherapy, targeted therapy, or immunotherapy[1][2][3][5][7].
