Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CS43158 is an investigational, orally administered small-molecule multikinase inhibitor developed by Chipscreen Biosciences for the treatment of acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Discovered through the company's AI-enabled Chemical Genomics (AI-ChemGen) platform, CS43158 is designed to simultaneously target the primary oncogenic driver FLT3 (including wild-type FLT3 overexpression, FLT3-ITD, and FLT3-TKD mutations) and multiple bypass resistance pathways, such as non-FLT3-mediated cytokine and growth factor signaling in the bone marrow microenvironment. This dual-action approach aims to overcome the resistance mechanisms that limit the efficacy of existing FLT3 inhibitors. Preclinical studies have demonstrated favorable pharmacokinetics, safety, and synergistic effects when combined with BCL-2 inhibitors. In October 2026, China's National Medical Products Administration (NMPA) approved the Investigational New Drug (IND) application for CS43158 tablets to initiate clinical trials in AML.
