Overview

CS44032 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of Bromodomain-containing protein 4 (BRD4), developed by Chipscreen NewWay, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Chipscreen Biosciences. BRD4 is a member of the BET (bromodomain and extra-terminal domain) family and serves as an epigenetic reader that binds to acetylated lysine residues on histones. This binding recruits transcriptional machinery to promote the expression of key oncogenic drivers, such as MYC. By inhibiting BRD4, CS44032 disrupts these transcriptional programs, leading to the downregulation of genes involved in cell cycle progression and survival. The compound is currently being investigated for its potential therapeutic application in various solid tumors.
