Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CS5012 is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by CStone Pharmaceuticals (formerly Cornerstone Pharmaceutical) that targets the human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2/erbB-2). The molecule is designed to treat HER2-expressing solid tumors, such as breast and gastric cancers, by utilizing a site-specific conjugation platform and a proprietary linker-payload system. This approach is intended to optimize the therapeutic index and overcome resistance mechanisms associated with existing HER2-targeted therapies. As of current development reports, CS5012 remains in the preclinical phase of investigation.
