Drug intelligence / Profile preview
CS93108 is a preclinical-stage small molecule inhibitor of Tyrosine Kinase 2 (TYK2) being developed by Chipscreen NewWay, a subsidiary of Shenzhen Chipscreen Biosciences. TYK2 is a member of the Janus kinase (JAK) family that mediates signaling for cytokines such as IL-23, IL-12, and Type I interferons, which are critical in the pathogenesis of various autoimmune and inflammatory conditions. By selectively inhibiting TYK2, CS93108 aims to modulate these inflammatory pathways while potentially avoiding the side effects associated with broader JAK1/2/3 inhibition. The drug is currently being investigated for the treatment of autoimmune diseases.
