Overview

**CSCC_ASC** is an investigational allogeneic adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cell therapy developed by Seoul National University Hospital for chronic, intractable lateral epicondylitis. The product is administered by ultrasound-guided intratendinous injection into hypoechoic lesions of the common extensor tendon, with fibrin glue used as a local delivery matrix. It is intended to promote tendon repair through the regenerative, trophic, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory activities of donor-derived mesenchymal stromal cells. In a pilot study, injections of 1 million or 10 million cells were associated with improvements in pain, elbow performance, and sonographic tendon defects through 52 weeks, without significant treatment-related adverse effects reported.
