Overview

CSI-109 (Csi109) is an investigational bi-specific small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutic being developed by Curigin for the treatment of cystic fibrosis. Utilizing Curigin's proprietary bi-specific siRNA platform, CSI-109 is designed to simultaneously target and inhibit the expression of two key genes: ANO1 (anoctamin 1) and MUC5AC (mucin 5AC). By silencing these targets, the therapy aims to address the underlying pathophysiology of cystic fibrosis, particularly mucus hypersecretion and airway obstruction. CSI-109 is formulated for non-viral delivery and is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
